Hot foil technique in practice |
The printing in the hot foil technique is provided with the aid of Hotprint foil.The heated text holder briefly presses the Hotprint foil onto the packaging material.
The pigment on the foil is applied onto the packaging and adheres immediately. Hotprint foil is available in various colours and types and can be cut to the required width and length by Kortho. The hot foil technique is among other things suitable for building into continuous packaging machines, label dispensers, clip sealing machines and many other applications. Hot ink coding is very suitable for applying small amounts of text, for example dates and/or price coding, in a packaging process with high production speeds.
