A lot of experience results in top applications |
When it comes to coding and marking plastic foils and laminates, Kortho can show prominent applications in the food industry among others.
There is the well-known flow-wrap packaging (for packaging spiced gingerbread and cake) and the so-called vertical form- fill- and seal packaging (for chips bags, for example). These are traditional, typical Hotprint and hot ink applications, whereby batch numbers and the `best before` dates are applied.

Kortho has a great deal of experience in coding and marking foils and laminates for the food industry: flow-wrap packaging and vertical for- fill- and seal packaging that is provided with batch numbers and `best before` dates using Hotprint and hot ink techniques, among other things.
But more and more we employ our thermotransfer printers. These have the flexibility required to uniquely code every product. Many products are provided with a barcode, which must be able to be scanned perfectly. The small character inkjet printer is excellently suited to the higher speeds.
A completely different application is in the building industry. Here, many foils are produced that are coded with a recycling logo, for example. The GraphicJet-NP for non-porous surfaces is the perfect apparatus for this. But also shrink-wrap that is pulled over pallets (bricks for example) is marked using the GraphicJet-NP.
